One Way Ministries grew out of a group of Spirit-filled believers in Mutare, Zimbabwe in 1980.
When Pastor Dave Garcia became the President of Acts Bible College in Harare in 1982, Pastor Duane and his wife Carol moved with their four children to Mutare in the Eastern Highlands of Zimbabwe, on the Mozambique border.
OWM, after two decades, maintains fellowship with many ministries and sustains a Mission to Mozambique, in Ministry Support and Evangelism. One Way Learning Centre has evolved from Early Education to ongoing Leadership Development.
One aspect of the vision is to create a much needed, comprehensive Hub of Communications for the people of God in the region. OWM initiated the first Family Aids Caring Trust in Zimbabwe.
Duane has served on the National Executive of the Evangelical Fellowship of Zimbabwe and Chairman of Mutare Ministers' Fraternal.
